Sometimes I just sit and stare at a painting. This one reminds me a little of the Waipio Valley on the Big Island, Hawaii. It’s a magical moment in time and this painting takes me back there easily. ⁣

The power is serenity is strong here.  To some it’s just another waterfall.  To me it’s a cherished memory.

The richness of green and the quiet living were extraordinary. It amazes me that people live off the land there. Maybe it would be lonely or maybe it would be bliss. We walked on the dirt road to the waterfall and got caught in the rain and did not mind at all. It was truly paradise
