Solo Exhibition online April 1 - 24.
For me, red represents richness, soil, strength and confidence. This painting began as an experiment with pouring warm colors together in a contained area. After it was complete and I stepped back the linework reminded me of a haze of a mountainous region and the warm area felt like those wonderful cross-sections of layers of the earth which always intrigued me as a child.
