This abstract painting of a marsh-like scene dives deep into the soul. I say that because the vividness of color seems to literally take me across to the distant water and back. The impression of vegetation overlapping sand and other vegetation is mesmerizing.  The interplay of the blues and greens seems to characterize both movement and stillness. The sky adds to the sensory experience where land meets water and breezy ocean air.
