The beauty of a multitude of blooms whether in a field or on a lovely bush is a captivating sight. I'm mesmerized by the seeming stacking of monochromatic shades of color. Sometimes I sit and stare for quite a while. The closeup experience of the softness of the blooms reminds me of that sensation experienced when seeing a new baby. There is joy and awe in the newness.
The stacked overlay of monochromatic shades of color in this painting produces a similar effect for me. I unwind in the meandering color and subtle grass-like lines.
