Product description

Recently I spent several hours among trees and streams in Blue Ridge, Georgia. It felt so good to be walking in the fresh air surrounded by nothing but nature. The sound of the river brought me back to a sense of calm after having had a stressful morning. It's amazing the shift in my energy and the fresh ideas that came to me just from doing nothing but showing up in nature.​

The impression of Spring, yet Winter is present in the leafless tree here. It reminds me of life, how in our minds we can always think of our youth and even feel young when our bodies are beyond aging.  I've described a friend before as "She's young but her body isn't."  It was almost like a joke except it really was true. As art does follow life, this painting surely does.
