Thinking of walking along the edge of the water in Destin, Florida watching the sun rise.  I found it interesting that Panama City wasn’t that far away.  I could see the buildings and felt like I could walk there from Destin.  Destin is actually 53 miles from Panama City but the high rise condos and hotels are probably more like 10-20 miles away.   It surely didn’t seem that far.  Good thing I didn’t actually try walking to it.  Ha!

Anyway this painting brought up that memory for me in an abstract sort of way.
