A little green is rising across the way.  Yet there are still no leaves on the trees.  These visits to the Chestatee River and creating this body of work have caused me to appreciate the beauty of winter trees. 

Seeing the trees return to green every year has always been my favorite season.  Fall trees are beautiful but nothing compares with the freshness of green surrounding the water and everywhere in general.  I look forward to seeing Spring foliage rising every year.

I have learned to enjoy seeing through the trees.  I've been missing so many details in the past.
