Original painting with an ethereal effect. Like a misty day along a waterway with orchids and vines alongside the water.  This scene is of an open glade with lush vegetation floating in a blanket of mist.  The clouds and water together create a soft collision of light and shadow that is represented in the palette.  The horizon line can be seen briefly through the lush vines.

This painting puts me in a meditative state with its subtle shading and takes me back to a moment outdoors on a misty morning before all the creatures, including humans, start stirring.
